Unlocking Weapon Customization

Before you can begin upgrading your primary weapons, you must reach player level ten. You achieve this by completing missions solo or in a team.

To expedite this process, consider teaming up with others on higher difficulty missions for quicker completions.

Once you hit level ten, head to your armory to check out your primary weapons. You can start customizing them with various components and color schemes, though your options will be limited until you level up each weapon.

Effective Ways to Earn Weapon XP

To gain experience for your weapons, simply ensure they are part of your loadout. You don’t even have to use them actively. As long as a weapon is included in your gear for a mission, swapping it out during the mission will still earn you experience upon completion.

You’ll find plenty of weapons during missions, and you can coordinate with your teammates to acquire replacements.

The most efficient way to rack up experience is by attempting missions at higher difficulty levels. While the highest level, Super Helldive, offers the most experience, it is also the most daunting.

Unless you’re fully prepared or have a capable squad, it’s wiser to tackle challenges at a manageable difficulty. Sometimes, it’s better to lower the difficulty slightly for quicker mission completions, which can optimize your farming for experience.

In particular, Eradication and Blitz missions can be completed in about 15 minutes. If you’re high-performing, you might finish even quicker.

Feel free to choose any loadout for your stratagems, including powerful tools like the Eagle 500Kg Bomb and the Orbital Laser, to eliminate large groups of Terminids, Automatons, and Illuminate enemies.

Though Stratagem Jammers will complicate missions by disabling your best resources, you can always find ways around this, such as stepping outside the jammer’s radius to call in essential weapons and supplies.
