Completing the Loot Filter in The Slormancer: A Solving Guide

The Slormancer is a rich action role-playing game (ARPG) that offers endless character builds and a wealth of loot. As you navigate the various progression systems, you’ll be stacking your abilities and creating powerful synergies that will help you dominate your foes.

This game is all about increasing your numbers, but the task of sorting through the loot can become overwhelming. Fortunately, The Slormancer features a user-friendly Loot Filter that allows you to eliminate unwanted items, letting you focus on taking down as many undead enemies as possible. Here, we’ll cover everything you need to know about using the game’s Loot Filter, including how to unlock it and make the most of it.

Unlocking the Loot Filter

In The Slormancer, the Loot Filter isn’t available right from the start. To gain access, you need to free the Blacksmith, Friedrich. You can do this by completing a specific Breach mission in The Guard Room within the Prison.

Once you rescue the Blacksmith, you’ll unlock the Loot Filter. The great news is that you can adjust it anytime—not just when you’re in town chatting with Friedrich.

Using the Loot Filter

The Loot Filter enables you to hide unwanted items by filtering based on different categories. You can start by filtering the items by their rarity, which includes Normal (grey), Magic (green), Rare (blue), Epic (yellow), and Legendary (orange).

Within each rarity category, you can further refine your choices by un-hiding items based on specific criteria, such as having a Pure stat, being Highlighted, or exceeding a certain Reinforcement level.

Items that are filtered out will be automatically converted into Fragments or Goldus at 75% of their normal value, ensuring that nothing you find goes to waste.

Any items not hidden by the Loot Filter will remain visible on the ground as usual.

Highlighting Stats

To highlight a stat so it isn’t hidden by your Loot Filter, simply open your character page and scroll through your list of stats using the tabs on the left. Click on the desired stat to add a small orange mark next to it. Any item with that stat will now be highlighted in your inventory or appear highlighted when it drops.

Highlighted stats will show up in yellow text on items, allowing you to quickly determine if they have the features you’re looking for.

Understanding Pure Stats

Pure Stats are a special type of attribute that may be present on gear. These stats, indicated by their blue text, are notable for rolling above the standard range for that particular stat.

For instance, a standard pair of gloves might have the Raw Damage stat rolling between 158 and 226 (depending on the gear’s level). However, if that stat is classified as Pure, it could exceed 226, up to a certain cap.

If a Pure Stat rolls at its absolute maximum, it’s termed a Perfect Stat.

In essence, Pure Stats represent higher rolls of ordinary stats, giving your gear an extra edge. However, be aware that Pure Stats can’t be added at the Forge, and rerolling a Pure Stat will revert it to a standard stat.
