After successfully navigating through Antonblast’s Boiler City (in your usual explosive style), it’s time to dive into the sewers. As with every level in Antonblast, the Slowroast Sewers present an exciting chance to hunt for a fresh collection of collectibles. But expect a challenge! These collectibles will require a bit more skill and finger agility to collect.
This guide will pinpoint the locations of each collectible and offer tips on how to reach them. So, no need to stress about finding these treasures; just remember that you’ll have to put in some effort. Don’t worry, we’re here to help you through it!
Finding the Slowroast Sewer Cassette Tape
Early in the level, you’ll enter a room filled with swinging spike balls. Right at the start, you’ll notice a multicolored block attached to the ceiling. As you move further into the room, you’ll spot another multicolored block overhead, and at the far end of the room, you can see the Cassette Tape. Unfortunately, it’s way too high for a simple jump. While you can hop onto the first block, the jump to the second block is too far. So, what’s the solution? You’ll need to combine a series of boosts to make that leap.
To start, head back to the beginning of the room and execute about 15 well-timed boosts. Once you build up enough speed, leap toward the first multicolored block and press the boost button while in mid-air to bounce off. Hold the right button on the d-pad as you approach the second block, and with a good push, you’ll easily reach the Cassette Tape.
If you miss the jump several times, you will have to return to the previous checkpoint at the stage’s start to try again.
Locating the Slowroast Sewer Peppers
A bit later on, you’ll enter a room filled edge-to-edge with crates. As you maneuver through some tight waterways, you’ll come across a door that isn’t immediately accessible. Keep swimming to the right and, when you reach the last bit of water, jump to the right to land on a platform above. Now break through the wall, and you can access that mysterious door.
From here, you’ll roll through a series of bowling pins. Continue following the path until you get back to where you initially started. Slide through the narrow area you just went through, and you’ll find the peppers waiting to be collected.
Finding the Slowroast Sewer Spray Paint Can
When you encounter the wild, horned, mechanical fish (could it be a robotic narwhal?), you’ll ride it for the second time. As you progress through the level, you’ll find a room with water streams that you need to swim up. Go up the first stream, then swim left to the second stream. Once you reach the top of the second stream, turn left, which will cause you to bounce off the wall and fall to a platform on your right. Just hold the right direction (no jumping needed) to glide through a side tunnel, and you’ll grab the spray paint can.
Hidden Areas in the Slowroast Sewers
-
In the section with fire pits: Smash into the first wall on your right. You’ll break through to find a launchpad that sends you to the background. Complete a box-jumping puzzle to score some chips.
- After dealing with the waterwheels, you’ll see two doors: One labeled “exit” and the other with a toilet icon. Go through the toilet door, break open some pipes to trigger a water jet that launches you upward, and then jump from box to box to collect more rewards.
If you find yourself failing, don’t forget that you can always restart from the previous checkpoint.
As you explore these collectibles hidden within the Slowroast Sewers, you’ll embark on a rewarding adventure filled with challenges and excitement. Happy collecting!
