Don’t Be Afraid To Try All Four Classes
Choosing your class is one of the most important decisions in Farever. Right now, there are only four options: Warrior, Rogue, Priest, and Mage. Many classes feel similar to their WoW counterparts, but if you’re new to fantasy MMORPGs, it’s a good idea to test each one to see which fits your style. Weapons are specific to each class, so not every weapon can be used by all classes.

Make Obelisks Your Priority in Every New Area
As soon as you enter a new region, look for Obelisks—the large rock structures often found in town centers. Once interacted with, they reveal the map of the surrounding area, much like Elden Ring’s map fragments.
Hitting these Obelisks is quick, and they’re usually easy to spot. Unlocking the map helps you track quests, see what you’ve explored, and quickly travel between regions. It’s best to do this early, unless you enjoy making things harder for yourself.
Try Out Different Weapons to See How They Change Your Class
While your initial class choice is crucial, weapon selection impacts how you play. Early on, your options are limited, but as you progress, try out different weapons. Remember, only specific classes can wield certain weapons.

Even if you’re not eager to grind for experience points, it’s smart to take advantage of opportunities when they arise. If you pass through an area with optional tasks or enemies you haven’t added to your Codex, spend a few moments completing those activities.
Rushing past areas just to get to the next checkpoint will make tough fights later more difficult. Collecting experience and rewards along the way can strengthen you against future challenges. Use the achievement menu to find exploration quests or enemy tasks that offer additional rewards.
