As you upgrade your island in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, you’ll find many ways to use Warm Fuzzies at the Wishing Fountain to make your islanders happier. One especially fun feature is the series of global vacation tours.
When a Mii goes on vacation as part of your island rewards, they return with various souvenirs as a thank-you gift for their trip. You can choose to sell these souvenirs or give them as presents to other Miis — it’s up to you.
Send Miis on Vacation with Travel Tickets as You Level Up
There are lots of ways to spend your Warm Fuzzies at the Wishing Fountain, including fulfilling wishes for your islanders. These wishes unlock as you level up your island, so be sure to use your Warm Fuzzies often to unlock new items quickly! The travel tours are some of the last rewards to unlock, after you’ve accomplished key tasks like decorating your island or redesigning your Miis.
Once you select Travel Tickets as a reward for leveling up, you’ll see different destinations listed around the world. Any tour you’ve already completed will have a passport stamp showing your visit, helping you keep track of which places you’ve seen in the game.
As your island level increases and you grant more wishes, more travel destinations will open up — there are a total of 19 destinations to explore.
When you pick a Travel Ticket to use, you get to choose which Mii will go on the trip. If the Mii is new and hasn’t met many islanders, they’ll go alone. Otherwise, Miis with friends or partners will travel together — prioritizing spouses, partners, children, family, roommates, or friends.
Usually, between one and four Miis will go on each trip. You don’t get to select who joins your chosen Mii, but you can be sure that the one you picked will be on the vacation.
During their trip, your Miis will visit three different locations in the region. They’ll share fun facts or jokes about each place and pose for photos. You can press the A button to take snapshots of each scene. The Miis will pose naturally, and you can snap the picture at any moment — just be quick, as there are no redo options if they blink or fall over!
Once the trip ends, your Miis will return to the island and visit your house to thank you. They’ll bring back a special souvenir from their visit — one for each Travel Ticket destination. You can sell these souvenirs at Rite Price, give them as gifts to other islanders, or keep them as keepsakes. Some souvenirs are edible, but you won’t be able to buy more servings at the bakery after you pick them up.
Honeymoons Are Free Travel Tickets
When two Miis fall in love and become a couple, one of them can ask to get engaged. If you approve, you’ll play a mini-game to help the proposer stay calm and ask their partner. After they marry, they will go on a honeymoon to a destination chosen from your unlocked Travel Ticket options. You won’t get to pick where they go — the game chooses the destination for you based on available options. Like other vacations, they’ll pose for photos and bring back a souvenir from their trip.
Souvenir List
Keep track of the souvenirs your islanders bring back from their trips. You can sell these items, which have different prices, or give them as gifts.
