Los Angeles: Post Malone, the talented singer-songwriter, recently showered affection on Beyoncé during a memorable moment at the Texans-Ravens Christmas Day halftime show held at NRG Stadium in Houston. The 29-year-old musician made a surprise appearance, adding an extra layer of excitement to the festive event.
Beyoncé, who is 43, brought a vibrant holiday atmosphere and a blend of cowboy charm to the game, making her entrance on horseback while donning a dazzling white cowgirl outfit paired with a striking snow-white cowboy hat, as reported by ‘People’ magazine.
As the performance unfolded, Post Malone joined Beyoncé after she showcased her talents with country singer Shaboozey, and they dove into their popular collaboration “LEVII’S JEANS.”
In a heartfelt message shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, December 28, Post Malone expressed his gratitude for the chance to perform alongside the musical legend.
He tweeted, “Thank you @Beyonce so much for inviting me to Houston and for your gorgeous record. I appreciate you sharing your artistic gifts with the world. Much love!”
Fans quickly took to social media to express their excitement over the collaboration, with one commenter on X eagerly asking, “New collab??”
This halftime show marked a significant occasion, being the first time Beyoncé performed tracks from her latest album live. The event, which has been affectionately dubbed the ‘Beyoncé Bowl,’ also featured a special appearance by her 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.
Blue Ivy made her debut as her mother concluded the show with “Texas Hold ‘Em,” and Beyoncé lovingly acknowledged her with a modified lyric, singing, “Then spin me in the middle, Blue, I can’t read your mind.”
The duo then performed an intricate line dance before Beyoncé elevated on a platform for a spectacular finale. Notably, Houston holds a special place in Beyoncé’s heart as her hometown.
Other highlights from the evening included performances of “16 Carriages,” “Blackbiird” (featuring Brittney Spencer, Reyna Roberts, Tiera Kennedy, and Tanner Adell), “My House,” and “Spaghetti.” The show also included a live a cappella group supporting Beyoncé during “American Requiem.”
