As the Popeyes One Piece collaboration launches across various locations in the United States, social media is flooding with videos showing long lines and heavy traffic surrounding the restaurants and parking areas.
A fan shared on X (formerly Twitter), “Visited the Popeyes in New Jersey and couldn’t believe the line winding around the building, stretching past the parking lot, down the street, and into another restaurant’s parking lot. Honestly, it’s wild.”

The collaboration offers a two-piece fried chicken meal served with a biscuit, mac & cheese, Chopper’s Cupcake, and a vibrant purple Gum-Gum Fruit Lemonade, all for $13.99. Additionally, for those quick enough, Popeyes is giving away exclusive One Piece-themed Bento Boxes to selected customers in cities including Boston, Chicago, New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, and Miami on the day of the launch, according to Dexerto.
For those who miss the initial rush, Popeyes has announced it will sell limited-edition One Piece merchandise, such as bento boxes, t-shirts, and keychains, on its online store starting April 15. This marks the restaurant’s first partnership with the popular anime, in collaboration with Toei Animation.
The promotion runs from April 13 through May 10.
