Google Will Rank Websites based on “Page Experience” from May 2021

It is declared by Google that a new ranking algorithm will be taking page experience into consideration today.

Page experience is all about how users recognize the experience of interaction of the webpage. If the webpage is not enjoyed by the people then Google will not rank it highly on the search results. A number of inspections are used to understand how the user observes the experience.

In May 2021, it has been stated by Google that page experience will be used to determine Google search rankings moreover in May 2021, the changes for non-AMP web content to be allowed to appear in top stories in the search for mobile devices.

It is stated by Google that any website which meets Google News content policies will be promoted but the great page experience will be prioritized in search pages. Whether they are being carried out by AMP or not.

Finally, it has been decided by Google that they are testing a visual indicator which recognizes pages that have met all of the page experience criteria. Google will show its visual indicator in May 2021 if the test is successful.
