WhatsApp is starting to roll out an exciting update for Android users via the Google Play Beta Program, with the new version 2.25.1.18 now available.
This update introduces a much-anticipated feature that enables users to create events directly within individual chat conversations. This marks a significant expansion of the event scheduling capabilities that were previously available only in group chats and community announcements.

With this new functionality, which is expected to debut in an upcoming update, users will be able to set up events seamlessly within one-on-one chats, making it easier to organize activities.
The process for creating an event will require users to input a name, while offering an optional description, a date, and the chance to specify an end time. Additionally, users can include a location or link the event to a video or audio call, catering to both in-person and online gatherings.
Once an event is created, it will be automatically shared with the other person in the chat, giving them the option to accept or decline the invitation.
This new feature is designed to boost coordination among users, reducing the back-and-forth messaging typically needed to finalize event details.
The introduction of this capability is anticipated to enhance the overall WhatsApp experience, particularly for personal interactions such as private tutoring sessions or individual meetings.
