Apple has officially introduced the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, now available in four eye-catching colors: Black Titanium, Natural Titanium, White Titanium, and Desert Titanium, which appears to be a rich brown at first glance.

Desert Titanium was the star of the show at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park, likely due to its elegant look. From a distance, it exhibits a blend of brown and gold tones, complemented by a gold-toned border around the device. Meanwhile, the TechRadar team expressed a preference for the Ultramarine shade on the iPhone 16 and Black Titanium as their top selections.

The iPhone 16 Pro models are constructed from Grade 5 titanium, renowned for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, and feature a new microblasted finish. This design ensures that the phones are both remarkably durable and lightweight.

Largest Display Yet

When it comes to displays, the iPhone 16 Pro Max features the largest screens ever seen on an iPhone. The 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR displays incorporate cutting-edge technology that routes data under active pixels, resulting in thinner bezels and an enhanced user experience.

Advanced Audio System

This latest generation of iPhones brings considerable upgrades to the audio system. The new devices focus on capturing only the voices of individuals in front of the camera, effectively filtering out background noise during recordings. With four studio-quality microphones, users can expect superior audio quality with less interference. Additionally, enhanced Spatial Audio capture provides a more immersive sound experience when used with AirPods, and wind noise reduction further enhances clarity.

Improved Neural Engine

Equipped with the A18 Pro chip, the new iPhones feature a faster Neural Engine that allows for improved Apple Intelligence, upgraded CPU and GPU performance, and greater memory bandwidth. This powerful chip supports advanced photography and videography capabilities, including Camera Control, while delivering top-tier graphics performance for high-end gaming.

Pre-orders for the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max kick off today, September 13, with the devices set to hit the shelves starting Friday, September 20.

Pricing:

  • iPhone 16 Pro ($999): This 6.3-inch model not only offers a larger display but also features slimmer bezels compared to its predecessor.
  • iPhone 16 Pro Max ($1,199): The 6.9-inch Max shares all the Pro’s features while providing a larger screen and the best battery life in the series.
