Huawei Mate 30 and 30 Pro will not have Android and Google Play Store

A new episode in the saga of problems between Huawei and the US government! Famous reporting agency, Reuters says in a post, that the future flagships of the brand Huawei Mate 30 and Huawei Mate 30 Pro will be targeted by the action of the US government. This means that smartphones would not, among other things, have the right to Google Android and the Play Store.

The reputable agency has this information from a statement by a representative of Google, who says that as it stands, Huawei’s new flagships will not be able to benefit from the services of the US giant.

What about the suspension granted by the United States?

On August 19, the US government renewed the one-time stay granted for the ban on US companies from trading with Huawei. This stay, however, only covers products already certified or marketed by Huawei at that time, which allowed the marketing of the Honor 20 Pro.

On the other hand, the range Huawei Mate 30 is not concerned by this reprieve. The phones have not been certified by Google to receive the Play Store, and can not be certified until the United States leaves Huawei blacklisted. According to Reuters, the presentation of smartphones is scheduled for September 18 in Munich.

It remains a few weeks for the situation to be resolved and Huawei can finally market its flagship normally. Otherwise, the firm will have to find an alternative to Android to market in Europe, if the firm still has the right to design the ARM chip of the smartphone.
