Conan Exiles Enhanced features a wide range of gods, each offering unique benefits. You can choose to worship one deity exclusively or explore multiple religions. Your first choice will influence your gameplay experience, as you can only start with one religion. As you advance in the game, you can find NPCs to teach you how to worship other gods, but your initial pick sets the foundation.
You can spend 50 knowledge points to learn a new religion, although there are more efficient ways to use your points. In the Isle of Siptah, learning new religions requires finding relics because there are no trainers available. Gods in the game mainly serve as a means of protection; you can summon their avatars as a sign of devotion. These avatars, which are crafted from weapons, armor, and altars resembling the god, represent the highest form of favor you can show. Summoning an avatar is considered an end-game activity, as it demands significant resources and careful planning. These enormous, powerful beings deal huge damage but are slow and only stay in the game for a limited time. When summoned, your character becomes vulnerable, marked by a bright beacon that reveals your location.
Each deity has its own set of rewards and requirements, and below are the details, including how difficult it is to gain favor with them:
- Crom: No favor can be gained; he ignores his followers. Suitable for players who prefer a challenge without religion concerns.
- Derketo (Skeletal Giantess): Gain favor by using Derketo’s Kiss to harvest Sliver of the Unfulfilled from enemies. The priestess is Yakira, located at the Pagoda of Boundless Lusts. Difficulty level: Intermediate.
- Jhebbal Sag (Manticore): Use the Blood Letter to harvest Sacred Blood from enemies. The follower, Flesh of Remembrance, is found at Midnight Grove. Difficulty: Hard.
- Mitra (Bronze Colossus): Use the Mitraen Ankh to gather Lingering Essence from foes. The priestess, Muriela the Artisan, resides in Muriela’s Hope. Difficulty: Intermediate.
- Set (Giant Serpent): Use the Setite Ritual Knife to harvest Human Hearts at Mek-kamoses’s Spire. Name: Mek-kamoses. Beginner-friendly.
- Ymir (Frost Giant): Use the Hoar-Frost Hatchet to collect Ice Shards at The Outcast Camp. Name: The Outcast. Difficulty: Intermediate.
- Yog (Eldritch Horror): Use the Yog Cleaver to gather Unblemished Human Meat at Shaman’s Rise. Name: Nunu the Cannibal. Beginner-friendly.
- Zath (Giant Spider): Use the Zathite Ritual Dagger to harvest Venom-purified Blood at Scuttler’s Shortcut. Name: Harpagus the Hatcher. Beginner-friendly. Caution: Do not choose Zath if you suffer from arachnophobia, as his form is a detailed giant spider.
