The launch of the RedMagic 10 Pro and 10 Pro+ is just around the corner, and new details about both models keep surfacing. As a gaming-specific phone, we anticipated a robust powerhouse, and recent benchmark leaks suggest this device could rival Thanos equipped with all five Infinity Stones—at least, that’s the impression we’re getting.
AnTuTu 10, a popular benchmarking tool for Android devices, allows users to evaluate their phone’s performance and storage speed. The RedMagic 10 Pro+ achieved an astonishing score of 3,102,960, placing it in the upper 1% range of smartphones, as reported by GSMArena. While these numbers are certainly impressive, we remain skeptical since numerous previous AnTuTu scores have been fabricated. We’ll wait until we have hands-on experience with the device before forming a final opinion.
Interestingly, this benchmark score is slightly lower than earlier results for the RedMagic 10 Pro+. However, we did learn a few things from these benchmarks. Both the RedMagic 10 Pro and Pro+ are equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite “Extreme Edition,” featuring eight Oryon cores along with an Adreno 830 GPU.
The benchmark model tested was the highest-tier version, featuring up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. Although this storage is impressively fast, it still lags behind a dedicated NVMe drive.
The upcoming models in the RedMagic series are set to launch worldwide on December 3. Previous releases in the RedMagic line have performed exceptionally well, and with an abundance of new mobile games hitting the market regularly, it’s an exciting time for gaming enthusiasts.
