Several individuals lost their lives in an explosion in Kabul’s Shahr-e-Naw district, according to the Taliban’s interior ministry on Monday.
“Preliminary reports indicate that some people have been killed and injured,” said Abdul Mateen Qani, spokesperson for the Interior Ministry, speaking to Reuters. He mentioned that further details would be shared later.
Shahr-e-Naw is known for being home to foreigners and is considered one of Kabul’s safest areas.
