In 2018, He sent an email to all of his staff and workers at Tesla and SpaceX and advised them as followed;

1. No Long Meetings

Long meetings cause fatigue and get worse over time to time. Elon suggested attending the long meeting in his email if you have something valuable to add to the whole audience. Otherwise, that long meeting is a waste of time.

2. Do Not Have Frequent Meetings (Unless It’s Something Urgent!)

There is no need for having meating for the things which could have been dealth with on the email. Unnecessary frequent meetings are a waste of time.

3. Employee Can Leave The Meeting If Not Contributing

If you’re not adding any value in the meeting or on a video call, it is better to drop the call or leave the room to focus on the work that ads value.

4. Never Use Jargon

Never use acronyms which are tough for your audience to undestand. Build explanation skill by using the basic works that are well recieved by general audience.

5. Communication With All Departments Directly

Elon belives the communication time should be as short as possible. He urges his employees to communicate with departments directly.

6. Use Common Sense, Do Not Follow Pointless Rules

If some rules are making your work to delay or stop, don’t follow them! Use your common sense to get your work going without any delay.
