As per the rollout release listed on Huawei’s developer site, Huawei is set to release the new mobile user interface EMUI 10 on 9th August 2019, which is the first day of Huawei Developer Conference 2019.
Currently, Huawei is standing at HMUI 9.1 version which comes pre-installed Huawei’s P30 flagship. But the list of devices getting EMUI 10 is growing as 49 other Huawei and Honor devices are scheduled to get it. EMUI 9.1 is based on Android 9 Pie, While EMUI 10 is baed on Android Q, which is currently in beta version.
EMUI 10 isn’t Hongmeng OS. EMUI is based on Android while Hongmeng is entirely different than EMUI and OS. Hongmeng OS is faster than EMUI 10, as stated previously by CEO Huawei.
We can expect more about hearing Hongmeng this August 9th, on 2019 Huawei Developer Conference. Huawei’s CEO Yu Chengdong, as well as Huawei’s software chief Dr. Wang Chenglu, are both confirmed for the keynote.
He will also announce new developer tools as well as new 5G technology.
