If you’re using a popular greeting card app and notice a message that says “Try AI” when selecting a label, and the message doesn’t disappear even after trying to print, you’re not alone. I ran into this issue myself and found a solution that might help you, too.
First, I reached out to Hallmark support, but they told me the problem had to be fixed through my computer’s operating system. After some research, I found that the solution involves adjusting settings on your Mac. Specifically, I looked into “Apple Intelligence,” which is sometimes mentioned when troubleshooting AI-related prompts.
However, I discovered that there’s no direct “Apple Intelligence” option in the latest Mac systems, including my Mac running Sequoia 15.7.1. So, how can you turn off AI features entirely if the option isn’t visible?
Here’s a simple way to try and disable AI or related features:
- Go to your system Settings.
- Click on Privacy & Security.
- Look for any settings related to Diagnostics & Usage or Analytics.
- Disable any options that send data or involve AI-related features (if available).
If you don’t see any options here, and if the message persists, it’s possible that the “Try AI” notification is part of the app itself, not the OS. In that case:
- Make sure your greeting card app is updated to the latest version.
- Check for app-specific settings that might turn off AI prompts.
- Alternatively, if the message is blocking your work, try contacting the app’s customer support again and provide details about your OS version and the issue.
In summary, disabling AI features depends on whether they are built into the operating system or the app itself. Updating your software, reviewing privacy settings, and reaching out for support should help resolve the message and let you print your labels smoothly.
