If you’re trying to remove reactions from a discussion or comment, here’s a simple guide to help you do it step by step.
First, look for the reaction buttons below the comment or post. These buttons display various emojis like thumbs up, thumbs down, laugh, hooray, confused, heart, rocket, and eyes. Each emoji has a number next to it indicating how many people reacted with that emoji.
To remove your reaction, simply find the specific emoji you reacted with. Once you spot it, click on that same emoji again. This action will unreact, removing your reaction from the post.
For example, if you gave a thumbs up and want to take it back, click on the thumbs-up emoji again. Your reaction will disappear, and the number next to that emoji will decrease by one.
This process works for all reaction types – just click on the emoji you reacted with, and it will toggle your reaction off.
So, next time you want to change or remove your reaction, remember: click the same emoji you used initially, and it will instantly undo your reaction.
