If you want to add a reaction to a discussion or comment on GitHub, here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you do it easily.

First, locate the comment or post where you want to react. You’ll see small icons next to the comment, like a thumbs-up, thumbs-down, smiley face, or other emojis. These are your reaction buttons.

Click on the emoji that matches how you feel. For example, if you agree with a comment, you might click the thumbs-up. If you’re confused or have a different opinion, select the thumbs-down or the thinking face emoji. If you want to celebrate or say “great job,” the party popper or rocket emojis are good options.

Once you click an emoji, your reaction gets added immediately, and you’ll see a number showing how many people have reacted with that emoji. If you change your mind, just click the same emoji again to remove your reaction.

Sometimes, you might want to add a different reaction or add your own emoji. You can do this by clicking the reaction button again and selecting a different emoji if available, or by selecting the “+” button to see more options.

This feature is helpful for quickly sharing your feelings or feedback without needing to write a full comment. Just a simple click communicates your response clearly.

So, next time you’re on GitHub and want to react to a comment, just find the emojis next to it, click the one that fits your mood, and you’re done! It’s fast, easy, and a great way to engage with others.
