Select Language:
If your printer is displaying menus in a language you don’t understand, changing it to English is a simple fix. Start by turning on your printer and looking at the main screen. Find the icon that looks like a gear or cog—this is usually the setup or settings button. Tap on it to open the menu.
Once you’re in the setup menu, look for an option called “Preferences” or “Settings.” On some printers, it might be in another language, like “Preferências” in Portuguese, but don’t worry—look for the top option, which is often the first item on the list. Tap on this to see more options.
Next, find and select “Language,” which might be labeled “Idioma” if it’s in a different language. Scroll through the list of languages until you find “English” or “Inglês.” Tap on it, then confirm your choice by selecting OK or Yes. Your printer’s language should change immediately.
If the menu options look different or you’re unsure, you can use Google Translate on your phone. Just point your camera at the screen, and it will help you interpret the options so you can navigate to the language setting and switch to English easily.
