If you’re having trouble copying text from a website and want an easy solution, here’s a simple trick you can use. Sometimes, websites disable the ability to copy text to prevent copying or protect their content. But don’t worry, there’s a quick way around it.
First, highlight the text you want to copy by clicking and dragging your mouse over it. Once it’s selected, right-click on the selected area. If you see a “Copy” option, simply click it, and you’re all set.
If right-click is disabled or doesn’t work, you can try this: press the “Ctrl” key and the “C” key at the same time on your keyboard. This is a shortcut for copying. On a Mac, press “Command” + “C”.
Another way is to use your browser’s developer tools. Right-click on the text and select “Inspect” or “Inspect Element” from the menu. This opens a window showing the website’s code. Look for the text within the code, usually highlighted. Double-click on it to highlight, then right-click on the highlighted text and select “Copy.” This method is more advanced but effective.
Lastly, if all else fails, you can take a screenshot of the text. On Windows, press the “PrtScn” key, then paste the image into an app like Paint. On Macs, press “Shift + Command + 3” to capture the whole screen or “Shift + Command + 4” to select a part.
Using these easy techniques, you can copy any text you need, even from websites that try to block copying. Just pick the method that works best for you and save any important content with just a few clicks or key presses.
