Building on the success of this model, EcoFlow has launched the Wave 3, a robust new portable air conditioning unit, along with the Glacier Classic, an electric cooler. The EcoFlow Wave 3 takes inspiration from the Wave 2, integrating over two years of user feedback into its design. This portable unit can both cool and heat spaces effectively. According to EcoFlow, it can reduce the temperature in smaller areas by 15 degrees in just 15 minutes. With 1800W of cooling capacity and 2000W of heating, its built-in battery makes it perfect for off-grid use.
Inside the Wave 3, you’ll find a 1024Wh LFP battery, which provides up to eight hours of cooling in Eco Mode and a lifespan of 4,000 cycles. The unit is designed for autonomous operation, featuring an Automatic Mode that alternates between heating and cooling to maintain a steady temperature. Additionally, a Dehumidification Mode helps to reduce moisture accumulation.
Pet owners will appreciate the Pet Care Mode, which activates the unit if vehicle temperatures exceed 77 degrees, sending a notification to the user to return to their vehicle.
The Wave 3 can be charged through AC power, solar energy, or a car socket, achieving a full charge in just 75 minutes while using a new environmentally friendly refrigerant that minimizes CO2 emissions.
Alongside the Wave 3, EcoFlow introduced the updated Glacier Classic electric cooler, which is available in three sizes (35L, 45L, and 55L). Its 298Wh battery compartment and overall design make it approximately 40% more space-efficient than traditional battery-powered coolers. You can enjoy up to 43 hours of cooling from a single charge, and a removable dual-zone divider helps keep your perishables organized.
The starting price for the Wave 3 is $1,299, while the Glacier Classic begins at $799. Both products are currently available for purchase on the EcoFlow website.
