It won’t be long before you finish Nipulon, complete the last bounty, and see the credits roll on High On Life 2. But if you rushed through the story and didn’t explore much, you might have missed some activities. If you’re enjoying the game and want a reason to wander around Circuit Arcadia, the Zoo, and Pinkline Harbor, here are some options.
Whether you prefer relaxing activities like fishing and watching movies or want to keep the action going, there’s something for everyone after the main story.
Enjoy Some Leisure with Fishing & Movies
One of the best ways to unwind in High On Life 2 is by fishing at spots scattered across the three maps or catching a movie at the Krust Theatre in Circuit Arcadia, which features five films you can watch.
Once you get the Rod, you unlock eight fishing locations across the maps. Each spot has a different type of fish to catch.
Pro tip: Catching all types of fish will unlock the “Tanks for the Memories” achievement.
Find Collectibles
There are plenty of hidden items to discover, including Wanted Posters and Lugloxes across Pinkline Harbor and all three maps.
Lugloxes are small objects hidden in secret spots or behind short challenges. Wanted Posters are marked on your map and lead to fights against small enemy groups. Removing the Wanted Poster completes that activity.
Exploring these collectibles is a fun way to skate around the map and enjoy your adventure.
Finish Side Missions
Throughout the game, you can access several side missions, no matter where you are. Some missions become easier as you upgrade your weapons.
One notable activity is the skateboarding challenges, scattered on different maps, which can earn you money or rare items like Skate Letters.
You can also do the Taxi side quest in Circuit Arcadia, just north of the central fast travel point. This mission ties into a larger quest involving a certain gun you might have noticed in The Quarters.
Get The Ball Gun
You may have spotted the Ball Gun on top of a small tank in The Quarters. The good news is, you can unlock its full functions whenever you’re ready. The bad news is, you’ll need to complete three side missions to do so.
While unlocking new guns, consider spending some of your cash on skateboard upgrades at Reptical’s shop—especially if your funds are overflowing.
Unlock the Secret Endings
Once you’ve finished the main story, you can try to unlock each of the secret endings. Doing so usually means starting a new game session.
Choices like shooting Lizzie at the beginning or completing complex tasks for the “Ankhs For The Memories” ending will lead you to different endings, each with its own unique appeal.
Achievement Hunting
High On Life 2 features several achievements scattered throughout. Some are missable, like “A Nice Day With Jeppy,” which requires taking your half-brother to the Circuit Arcadia Zoo for a fun day out.
Others, such as “Where’s Marris?”, are easy to get anytime. Simply play the crane game in The Quarters and collect all seven pillows to unlock that trophy.
Pursuing these achievements is a fun way to extend your game time and explore every corner of the world.
