How to Complete All Escape Rooms in High On Life 2 and Solve Puzzles

To unlock the “Ankhs For The Memories” achievement or trophy in High On Life 2, you need to complete a specific set of objectives before the final scene. This achievement ties directly to one of the game’s hidden endings and is considered the most unusual ending you can find.

If your goal is to see all endings, gather every achievement, and earn the platinum trophy quickly, follow this guide carefully to achieve “Ankhs For The Memories” step by step.

How to Start the Ankhs For The Memories Achievement/Trophy

After completing the “Dinner With Mom” mission and gaining access to Pinkline Harbor, head back to the map to find a secret area.

Once there, you’ll notice a raised platform — see the accompanying image for reference.

Proceed to the Town fast travel point, then skate southwest toward the resort area, where you’ll find a hotel reception. Pass by the reception desk with the complaining guest, then look for an upper platform sign marked “Escape Rooms.” Use Travis & Jan’s Trick Shot to lift this platform, hop on it, and enter Twilly’s No Escape Rooms.

How to Complete All Escape Rooms

There are three escape rooms to beat, each with a 1-hour limit, but they are quick to finish within a minute or two.

1. Pharaoh’s Tomb

Enter the room and look to the right corner.
Interact with the alarm clock with the light.
Approach the mummy and wait for it to sit up.
Interact with the mummy to take the Ankh.
Interact with the door to escape.

After leaving, give Twilly your feedback. When you try to leave again, you’ll find yourself trapped in an escape room within an escape room — you must complete all three to leave.

2. Alien Wasteland

Enter and immediately turn right to find a trash bin.
Take the meat from the bin.
Bring the meat to the central barbecue grill.
Grill the meat, then take the grilled meat.
Drop the grilled meat outside the doghouse.
A mummy will appear and eat the meat, offering you an Ankh.
Use that Ankh on the door to escape.

Return to the lobby again and give your feedback once more.

3. Scary House

Grab the chainsaw from the bookcase upon entry.
Use the red gas can next to the green barrels by the door to power the chainsaw.
Use the chainsaw on the mummy to kill it.
Move the mummy over to the bed.
Collect the Ankh from under the bed and use it to escape.

Afterward, speak with Twilly again and sign the newsletter before leaving. Note that signing up for the newsletter is necessary to obtain the Ankhs for the Memories achievement.

How to Trigger the Ankhs For The Memories Ending

Once you leave the last escape room, a newsletter will be on the counter. Opt in to the newsletter, and you’ll be transported to a new scene.

To activate the secret ending, watch the full credits after defeating Nipulon and enjoy the party thrown in your honor. When the celebration ends and you head toward the exit, you’ll see an Ankh. Interact with it to enjoy the full, secret, trippy ending.

This process unlocks a special ending tied to the Ankhs for the Memories achievement, offering a unique conclusion to your game experience.
