Elemental Dungeons is a lively dungeon-crawling game on Roblox, where player mobility plays a significant role in gameplay, especially with characters like Galaxy, Solar, and Lightning. Regardless of your character choice, you’ll often find yourself using your jump and dash abilities to dodge attacks and navigate through dungeons efficiently. Mastering these moves will greatly enhance your experience.
As you progress, you’ll discover that both your jump and dash can be upgraded. Upgrading these abilities opens up faster dungeon clearing, which is crucial for success. Let’s take a closer look at the available upgrades and how to obtain them.
Upgrading Dashing and Jumping Abilities
Initially, the dash serves as a way to flee from danger and evade enemy attacks. However, it can be enhanced to Dash V2, which significantly increases the distance covered and sends nearby enemies flying back.
For your jump, there are two upgrades available: Double Jump and Triple Jump. These upgrades make it much easier to reach elevated areas where you can unleash powerful attacks on multiple foes during battles in the infinite mode.
Pro Tip: Getting these upgrades early on is vital for escaping threats and grinding through dungeons more easily.
How to Get Dash V2
To unlock Dash V2, you must navigate through the first two areas of the game: Ancient Tomb and Jungle. In the Snow Castle area, just before the boss battle, you’ll encounter an NPC known as "???". Here, you can acquire Dash V2 by collecting several required items:
- 100,000 Gold
- 12 Lunar Shards (can be obtained from Challenge Mode dungeons)
- Five Air Orbs (acquired from Summons)
- Five Evil Drives (found in various chests across the map)
- Two Evil Amulets (collected from Blood Moon Jungle dungeons)
Make sure to keep at least one enemy alive in the final area to avoid being teleported into the boss fight, which prevents you from returning.
How to Find Evil Drives
Evil Drives are limited items found in specific chest locations, each of which disappears once opened. The first Evil Drive can be spotted in town: ascend the hill on the right after entering; behind the houses near an abandoned mine, it will be waiting for you.
For the second Evil Drive, you’ll need to encounter a randomly generated room in the Ancient Tomb that features a staircase; the chest will appear at the bottom left corner. The third Evil Drive is located in the Jungle dungeon, next to a red crystal found within a cave.
The fourth Evil Drive can be found behind a hut right before the boss in the Jungle dungeon. Finally, the fifth Evil Drive is located atop a throne in the Snow Castle area’s sixth section.
How to Get Evil Amulets
Evil Amulets are not found in fixed spots; they’re rare drops that can only be gathered from enemies during a Blood Moon occurrence in the Jungle. These special events happen on Hardcore difficulty after clearing the first area, transforming the look of the sky and increasing enemy health and damage.
During a Blood Moon, you can encounter Cursed versions of regular enemies which drop Evil Amulets upon defeat. If luck isn’t on your side, you might need several attempts to find these Cursed enemies.
Tips for Obtaining Evil Amulets Quickly
If you want to gather Evil Amulets without delay, enter the jungle on Hardcore difficulty, clear the first area, and if nothing appears, simply reset your character and try again.
Upgrading to Double Jump and Triple Jump
Both the Double Jump and Triple Jump abilities can be obtained from the Wise Blind Toad NPC. To reach this NPC, find a way to get up onto the archway that serves as the entrance to the town. If you struggle with this, consider obtaining Dash V2 first and using it to leap from the nearby hill.
To unlock the Double Jump, the Wise Blind Toad will ask for five Frog Legs. These can be purchased from the Traveling Merchant for Gold, who sells a random assortment of items every hour. The catches might make it difficult to find Frog Legs immediately, as he only spawns for 20 minutes each hour.
For the Triple Jump, you’ll need 25 Frog Legs and 3,500 Raidium. This Raidium is earned by completing Raids, with the Skeleton Raid being your best option. To take part, buy the Skeleton Key from the Handy Gorilla in town for 800,000 Gold and prepare yourself for a challenging fight against a level 180 boss.
Upon collecting all required items and defeating the necessary foes, you can return to the Wise Blind Toad and craft your upgraded jumping abilities.
By understanding and mastering these upgrades, your adventures in Elemental Dungeons will become faster and more exhilarating, making it easier to conquer the many challenges that await you!
