The Full-Auto Maelstrom Delivers a Heavy Blow
To obtain the Maelstrom Shotgun, you must participate in the Merry Mayhem event, running from December 5 to December 19, in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone. This weapon is the ultimate reward for the event, so you’ll need to progress through the challenges to claim your prize.
Unlike other unlockable weapons, there’s no specific challenge tied to getting the Maelstrom Shotgun. Instead, you can earn XP by playing Multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone, which contributes toward the Merry Mayhem event. This is similar to unlocking the Sirin 9mm.
As you delve into your favorite mode, accumulate XP to fill the event’s progress bar. You can monitor your progress in the Events tab of Black Ops 6 or Warzone.
