To gather Linen, you’ll need to embark on a thorough exploration of the Fallen Heights to hunt for Flax. Growing Flax is the fastest way to ensure you have enough Linen, saving you from having to search for it repeatedly. You’ll also need to process Flax in the necessary buildings to produce Linen.

How To Collect Linen

To acquire Linen in Aloft, you must reach the Fallen Heights biome. Here is where you will locate Flax, the key ingredient needed for crafting Linen.

How To Find Flax

Flax can be identified by its indigo-colored flowers. When you harvest these flowers, you also obtain some seeds to plant on your home island. Each time you gather from your farm, you’ll receive four Flax flowers and one Flax Seed. Just keep in mind that Flax does not regrow naturally, but you can continually cultivate it using the seeds you collect.

How To Craft Linen

To craft Linen, you must first convert Flax into Fibres. This requires building a Flax Break, for which you need the following materials:

• Three Wooden Cogs
• Five Planks

After obtaining Fibres, the next step is to construct a Loom, which will weave your materials into fabrics, including Linen. To build a Loom, you will need:

• Five Carved Wood
• Five Wool Threads
• Two Wooden Cogs

How To Utilize Linen
