Quick Navigation
Debut Suit Location in Stalker 2
Option 1: The Trader
The first guaranteed way to get the Debut Suit quickly is through Hamster the Trader. If you’re exploring Zalissya, you can come across this trader, either through an NPC’s help or while wandering around on your own. The Debut Suit is one of his key items; however, it comes at a steep price—Hamster only offers it for 13,500 Coupons or a comparable trade.
This price can feel like highway robbery early in the game, especially since you won’t have much valuable inventory to barter with. Unless you’ve aided Gloomy before arriving at the settlement, you’re likely going to need to take on quests to gather enough funds. After selling any surplus weapons and junk, look for side quests in Zalissya to earn those Coupons.
Option 2: The Old Mill
Another location to find the Debut Suit is the Old Mill, situated east of Zalissya. Players should easily locate this area, which features several houses. Look for one with breakable boards at the front door, marked by a green player arrow on the map. Use a knife to dismantle the boards and access the house.
Inside, navigate through the building until you reach the back room. The Debut Suit will be waiting on a table for you to pick up. Don’t forget to head back to Zalissya afterward to upgrade your new armor and sell off any surplus items, like that Leather Jacket!
Option 3: Help Squinty & Return the Ward Sensors
If you’re in a rush and decide to focus on the main storyline, you can potentially obtain the Debut Suit more easily. Upon reaching Zalissya, you’ll have the option to assist either Richter or the Ward Captain Zotov, gaining vital info about Solder. I opted to help Zotov, which rewarded me with a Debut Suit.
Even if you’re considering helping Zotov, I recommend also engaging with Richter first. His method of finding Squinty can be safer and avoids unnecessary gunfire. You’ll also want to keep any Coupons earned for future need, especially if you want to avoid conflicts during Zotov’s mission.
Once you have the sensor, return to Zotov with the item. Convince him of your innocence by claiming there’s no proof against you and that Solder’s team has betrayed you both. This action will not only open doors to the next mission at The Sphere, but it’ll also net you a Debut Suit alongside a helmet.
Note: The Debut Suit isn’t always guaranteed as a reward, and sometimes it won’t appear on the list. However, after two playthroughs, I consistently found it in my inventory after the mission.
These are the three primary methods to grab the Debut Suit early in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Once secured, you’ll notice a marked improvement in your stats and overall survivability in the game.
