The Stardew Valley Help Wanted board is where you can assist others for a small reward. One standout feature from the 1.6 update is the star counter located in the top left corner. This tracker monitors your progress and adds an element of strategy as you complete various quests.
So, how does it work, and what can you gain from your efforts? In this article, we’ll explain the star counter and how to maximize your rewards.
What Do The Quest Board Stars Mean?
The Help Wanted board in Pelican Town lets you earn rewards by tackling quests. A unique addition from the 1.6 update is the star counter in the top left corner.
This counter monitors your progress toward reaching a milestone. Each time you complete a quest, you earn one star. When the counter hits three stars, you’ll earn a
Prize Ticket after completing your next quest. The counter keeps adding stars for every active quest you have, allowing it to build up over time.
Once the counter reaches three stars, it resets. However, you can have multiple quests active at the same time, which can introduce some uncertainty about when you’ll reach three stars for your Prize Ticket reward.
To get the most out of the star counter, try completing quests one at a time.
What Are Prize Tickets?
The tickets you earn act as a special currency that can be exchanged for various items. To redeem your Prize Tickets, visit the Prize Machine, located inside
Lewis
‘s house, right next to the Town Ledger.
