Top Spots for Completing Cooling Coils in Arc Raiders

In Arc Raiders, you’ll need many materials to craft weapons, upgrade your stations, and contribute to your Expedition. Some materials that weren’t useful before now become essential for progressing through the Expedition’s stages.

One tricky item to find is the Cooling Coil. Even though they can appear in various locations, locating them consistently is challenging. Here’s what you should know about finding the four Cooling Coils you’ll need.

### Where to Find Cooling Coils

To find Cooling Coils, focus your search on industrial areas. These are marked on your map with a building icon next to their names. Not all industrial zones are the same, so target these specific locations:

– Rocket Assembly at Spaceport
– Hydroponic Dome Complex and Water Treatment Control at Dam Battlegrounds
– Warehouse Complex at The Blue Gate

Of these, the Hydroponic Dome Complex is by far the best place to find Cooling Coils regularly. Look inside the large domed buildings, especially for the red lockers that you can loot. These lockers seem to have the best chance of dropping Cooling Coils when you’re in an industrial zone.

Aside from lockers, broken metal boxes or breachable containers can sometimes give you Cooling Coils. However, these are less reliable than looting lockers.

Another good spot is Water Treatment Control in Dam Battlegrounds. If you have a Dam Surveillance Key, you can access a locked room with lockers along the left side. These lockers often contain at least one Cooling Coil. You’ll also find toolboxes, metal boxes, and shelves here, making it a strong backup location if the Hydroponic Dome is cleaned out.

When exploring other maps, Rocket Assembly at Spaceport is also a reliable spot. It features groups of red lockers on both floors that often contain Cooling Coils and other rare materials, making this location worth checking when you’re on this map.

The Warehouse Complex at The Blue Gate is another possible location, but only if the top-floor row of lockers hasn’t been looted already. Due to inconsistent drops, it’s not the best dedicated spot for Cooling Coils.

### Important Note

Cooling Coils can’t be purchased, crafted, or recycled from other materials. To get enough for your Expedition, you’ll need to find them through looting. You’ll have to search the areas and hope they appear in lockers or containers.
