How Our Ranking Was Determined

Elemental Dungeons on Roblox offers a variety of play styles and ability combinations, thanks to the regular introduction of new elements. With so many options available, your choice comes down to your personal preferences and which combinations yield the most consistent damage output.

The Mastery system in Elemental Dungeons makes selecting an element a significant commitment. To help you out, we’ve created a tier list that ranks all elements from worst to best based on various criteria. Here’s a quick overview of how we compiled this list.

How Our Ranking Was Determined

We categorized these elements based on:

Damage Output: How much damage can the element’s abilities inflict?
Utility and Mobility: Does the element offer useful abilities or mobility options?
Matchups: How does the element perform against others of the same rarity?

Our analysis focuses solely on the raw elements, avoiding variants like Corrupted elements, which deal double the damage of regular ones. However, we’ll include limited-time elements.

Additionally, we consider Awakened abilities and any passive bonuses the elements might have.

The order within each tier is crucial: the first element listed is the strongest, while subsequent ones, though of a similar overall strength, may be slightly weaker in certain aspects.

S-Tier Elements

S-Tier features the top elements in the game, boasting the most powerful abilities suitable for any situation. This tier is mainly made up of Mythicals, which have expansive move sets that can carry players throughout the game.

Some elements may require specific builds to maximize effectiveness, but when utilized properly, they overwhelmingly outclass elements in lower tiers.

Element	Rarity	Description
Solar	Mythic/Limited	The most reliable for consistent damage, superbly versatile with mobility options that many other elements lack, placing it firmly at the top of S-Tier.
Reaper	Mythic	Potentially the highest damage output in the game, but requires a specific build to shine and lacks mobility. Ideal for experienced players.
Kitsune	Mythic	The best choice for newer players, easy to use with strong attacks and good mobility.
Phantom	Mythic/Limited	Unique move set with high damage, best wielded by those with high-tier weapons.
Galaxy	Mythic	Excellent AoE and mobility, though it may not top charts for boss damage, making it a solid pick for all players.
Dragon	Legendary	Features awakened abilities that can match even the lower-tier Mythicals. The best among Legendary elements.

A-Tier Elements

A-Tier elements are formidable choices that can hold their own against S-Tier, though they may thrive better in specific contexts.

Element	Rarity	Description
Angel	Legendary	A crucial healer for tough Raid boss battles, its damage is formidable for a support class. With awakened abilities, it offers hybrid build potential.
Infinity	Mythic/Limited	High damage output typical of its rarity but has mobility issues. Manages well with AoE attacks.
Krampus	Mythic/Limited	One of the top damage-dealing elements, standing confidently behind Infinity.
Darkness	Legendary	High damage capabilities with challenging, hard-to-hit abilities. Mastery takes time, but rewarding for skilled players.
Bunny	Exclusive	A unique element that performs at the level of Legendaries, sitting just above it in A-Tier.

B-Tier Elements

B-Tier elements may not shine as brightly, but they still offer decent performance, suitable primarily for players settling into their role.

Lava	Legendary	While enjoyable and easy to use, it doesn’t quite measure up against other Legends.
Gravity	Legendary	Features unique abilities that often miss their mark. While a cool class, it struggles in damage output.
Light	Epic	Great damage and quick cooldowns, standing as the best among Epic elements.

C-Tier Elements

These elements should be reserved for players who are just starting out and want to test the waters before moving on to stronger options.

Lightning	Epic	A solid all-rounder that balances damage, mobility, and AoE.
Ice	Epic	Specializes in hard-hitting single attacks, though lacks mobility.
Smoke	Epic	Features long-range attacks, but its damage is lackluster compared to others.
Nature	Rare	The best Rare element, effective against lower-level threats, but investments should be directed elsewhere.

D-Tier Elements

D-Tier elements are generally for beginners, with little incentive to stick with them unless just starting.

Fire	Rare	A great pick among Rare elements due to its high AoE damage.
Earth	Rare	Decent, but has limitations in its damage output during combat.
Water	Rare	While offering high AoE, its damage is low. Keep until transitioning out of Ancient Tomb.
Sand	Rare	Focuses on single-target damage but doesn’t compensate well for it.
Air	Rare	The weakest element in the game; it has mobility but lacks any substantial combat value. Recommended for replacement if possible.
Fool’s Phantom	Exclusive	A humorous April Fool’s joke element, not made for combat, though it offers quirky appeal.
