Repairing Lockdown Protocol Vents: A Step-by-Step Guide

Lockdown Protocol is an exciting multiplayer game where you and your friends find yourselves trapped on a ship with dissidents determined to eliminate everyone onboard. While trying to survive, the rest of the crew must complete a series of challenging tasks without realizing they may be among potential threats. These tasks often involve multiple steps that can be quite demanding.

At the beginning of the game, each player accesses their tablet to check their assigned tasks. Each task comes with a unique list of actions to carry out. To progress, you’ll need to consult your tablet, hover over your task list, move toward highlighted areas, and explore the ship for necessary tools.

Finding the Vents

When you check your tablet, look for a task labeled "vents." You’ll notice blinking white dots in different rooms on the map. The first step is to visit each dot to identify the disabled vents. You’ll find that the broken vents emit a red glow, while the ones working properly will shine blue.

To determine how many vents you need to repair, pay attention to the number next to the vents title in the task manager. You will need a screwdriver to fix these vents. Most tools, including screwdrivers, can typically be located in the storage room, marked with an orange box on your map. Grab a screwdriver and proceed to the vents.

Finding the broken vents before tackling repairs can prevent confusion later. It’s also smart to remember which rooms have damaged vents, as this information could be useful if you need assistance.

Repairing the Vents

Once you’ve located a vent with a red light, you need to unscrew both screws, which appear as silver circles. After unscrewing, place the screwdriver in your backpack or drop it somewhere safe so you can retrieve it later. This lets you remove the dirty vent filter situated between the screws.

Be cautious about where you leave your screwdriver. If you drop it somewhere obvious, other players might take it, or dissidents could potentially use it against your teammates.

Next, transport the dirty filter to the machine room, identified by a blue wrench icon. In this area, you’ll find a sign labeled "filter washing station," featuring three washing machines and a computer. Insert the filter into the top of the washing machine and press the blue button on the front. Wait until the bar next to the button is fully white, indicating that your filter is now clean.

Once the filter is cleaned, return to the vent you initially opened. Place the filter back into the slot, then reattach both screws to secure the filter in place. The vent will light up blue, signaling that your work is complete. Don’t forget to retrieve your screwdriver before moving on to tackle the next vent!

When the task manager shows zero remaining vents to fix, that means you’ve successfully repaired everything. Now you can look for another task to complete. Just remember to avoid any encounters with dissidents in isolated areas, and it’s safer to stick close to someone you trust as you finish your tasks.
