How to Build a House
After chatting with the mayor and feeling ready to start, the first thing to do is lay the foundation. Choose the preferred shape for your foundation, then tap it with your finger and drag it to your desired spot in your design area. This sets the groundwork for your house, allowing you to build from here.
With your foundation set, it’s time to choose a roof style. Similar to selecting your foundation, simply pick the roof design you like best and drag it onto the foundation. This finalizes the basic framework of your home and provides the shelter it needs.
Now you can add both functional and decorative features to your dwelling. Whether you want to place doors, windows, or a chimney, it’s easy — just tap on the item and drag it to the right spot. Feel free to mix and match to create your perfect home.
How to Paint Your House
Once you’ve finished the basic structure and details, it’s time to paint your house and give it a fresh look. Click the paintbrush icon located at the top left corner of the screen, then select the part of the house you want to paint.
Every time you tap, it cycles through different colors, so keep tapping until you find the one you love. Repeat this for all parts of your house — doors, windows, roofs, and more — to achieve that perfect final touch. When you’re done, don’t forget to press the ‘+’ button.
How to Remodel Your House
If you’re not thrilled with how your house looks, remodeling is easy. Just go to the mailbox in front of your house and tap the ‘Remodel’ button. This will take you back to the design screen, where you can modify the exterior or add new items you’ve collected throughout your game.
