Support for PS5 Pro has been confirmed for a highly anticipated upcoming action-adventure game scheduled to release in March 2026. Pearl Abyss announced that Crimson Desert will include specific enhancements for PS5 Pro, a welcomed update following a number of major titles launching without dedicated support.
During a recent interview with YouTuber Destin, Pearl Abyss director Will Powers mentioned that Crimson Desert is currently under optimization. While there will naturally be performance differences between PC and consoles, players can expect PS5 Pro-specific enhancements. Further details about these improvements, along with graphics and performance insights for both console and PC versions, will be shared before the game’s launch.
Crimson Desert is set to arrive on March 19, 2026. Originally conceived as a prequel to Black Desert, it has since evolved into a standalone single-player experience.
An official description describes Crimson Desert as an open-world action-adventure set across the stunning yet unforgiving continent of Pywel. Players will assume the role of Greymane Kliff and undertake a journey across the land to reclaim what has been lost. The game promises exploration of uncharted territories, encounters with mysterious factions, and an immersive world that’s as mesmerizing as it is harsh.
Preorders for Crimson Desert are now available on the PlayStation Store, offering exclusive bonuses for PS5 owners.
