A ratings board may have accidentally revealed an upcoming unannounced PS5 release of one of the most beloved PS1 titles. Ubisoft’s 1995 platformer Rayman is making a comeback with the release of the Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition, according to a listing from the Australian Classification system.
As reported by Gematsu, the rating is exclusively for a PS5 and Nintendo Switch version. There’s no mention of other platforms, but we’ll need an official statement to confirm those details.
The Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition is reportedly developed by Atari and will be distributed by U&I Entertainment, which has a history of handling physical releases for Ubisoft titles.
Popular leaker Tom Henderson states that Ubisoft is currently working on two Rayman projects, one of which is the leaked 30th Anniversary Edition. Henderson suggests that its release is imminent—“very, very soon.”
The other project is believed to be a remake of Rayman Legends.
We will update our audience once more details are available. Ubisoft could certainly use some positive news after recent setbacks, including the cancellation of the highly anticipated Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake.
