Pokemon Let's Go End Game: What To Do?

In Pokemon Let’s Go, a wealth of endgame content awaits you, accessible after defeating the Elite Four and your Rival.

Completing the main storyline will take approximately 35 hours. Once you’ve wrapped up the game, a variety of activities opens up. We’ll walk you through each of them step by step, so you can navigate easily without aimlessly searching for new adventures.

1. Discover the Cerulean Cave

The game maintains the Kanto tradition, allowing you to enter the Cerulean Cave after clearing the Pokémon League in Pokemon Let’s Go. When you arrive at the cave entrance, you must defeat the Coach Trainer in your way.

For your efforts, you’ll gain TM60 and Megahorn, and the cave door will be open to you. Once inside, you’ll face a range of incredibly strong and challenging Pokémon. The cave layout is easier to navigate, as there’s no need for the top-down perspective.

Explore the first level, then find the ladder to ascend to the second floor located in the Northwest corner of the cave. Upon reaching the second floor, head far right and then down to reach a body of water where you can use Sea Skim to move left.

As you approach Mewtwo for the battle, be cautious; he is at Level 70 and has enhanced stats.

2. Capture Mewtwo

To capture Mewtwo, you’ll need to battle him like any other Pokémon. After you exit the cave, your Rival will be waiting and mention that Green was also attempting to catch Mewtwo. You’ll then engage her in battle.

Green is a challenging opponent, but if you’ve caught Mewtwo, you should have no trouble. Just make sure to heal your team before the fight starts. Upon defeating Green, she’ll gift you five PokeBalls that you can add to your inventory.

3. Rematch the Trainers

Once you reach the endgame, you can challenge the trainers you’ve faced previously in Pokemon Let’s Go. The most significant battles will be against the Elite Four and your Rival.

You’ll face them again, but this time their Pokémon will be at +10 levels, and each trainer will have an Alolan variant. For more details on battling the Elite Four and your Rival for the second time, check out our Pokemon Let’s Go Elite Four Guide.

You can also revisit Team Rocket. Look for Jesse and James on Route 17 to battle them and earn the Blast-Off Clothing Set.

Simply reply ‘Well…’ when they invite you to join Team Rocket. You can also confront Executive Archer by visiting their hideout and climbing to the top floor, located in Celadon City.

Additionally, you can challenge Mina for more Bottle Caps; she can be found in the Port area of Vermilion City.

Once she’s defeated, she’ll reward you with a Bottle Cap. This challenge can be done repeatedly, but you are limited to one challenge per day. Lastly, you can battle coach trainer Morimoto in Celadon City. You’ll find him in the Condominiums, and after you beat him, you’ll earn 10 PP Maxes.

4. Hyper Train Your Pokémon

Another option in the endgame is to visit the Pokémon Day Care on Route 5 in Let’s Go. Here, you can hyper train your Pokémon and boost their levels to 100 instantly.

Keep in mind that you’ll need to provide a Bottle Cap or Gold Bottle Cap to the attendant to hyper train your Pokémon.

Since you can earn a Bottle Cap daily from Mina in Vermilion City, getting your Pokémon to Level 100 is merely a matter of time in the endgame.
