Adventure Week is back in Pokémon GO for 2025, bringing two new Pokémon from the Paldea region. Next week, players can enjoy special bonuses and exciting new Pokémon to catch. The event is scheduled from Tuesday, July 29th at 10 a.m. local time until Sunday, August 3rd at 8 p.m. local time.
Throughout the summer, Pokémon GO has hosted many weekly events, including the Ultra Unlock: Steel and Scales event, which introduced new Pokémon to the game. But Adventure Week offers a lot more, with new Pokémon appearances, rewards, and increased spawn rates to keep players engaged.
New Pokémon and Spawns During Adventure Week
This event introduces two Pokémon from Generation 9 and the Paldea region: Toedscool and its evolution, Toedscruel. Both will be available from the beginning of the event. Players can find Toedscool spawning in forests and grassy areas. Additionally, for the first time in Pokémon GO, shiny forms of Wiglett and Wugtrio can be encountered. Wiglett can be found near beaches and water bodies during the event.
Different locations will feature increased spawns of various Pokémon. In city areas, you’ll see more Snubbull, Trubbish, Elgyem, Sizzlipede, and Espurr. In forests and grasslands, expect more Skwovet, Fidough, Smoliv, and Tadbulb. Mountains will have Hippopotas, Drilbur, Rufflet, and Gligar, while beaches and water regions will feature Inkay, Mareanie, Dewpider, and Sandygast.
Rewards for Adventure Week
During the six days of the event, all players will earn double XP for every Pokémon caught, whether they are part of the event or not. Plus, all Incense used during the event will last for two hours, helping increase Pokémon spawns. These bonuses are layered on top of the current season’s benefits, making the week a perfect time to catch Pokémon and earn extra rewards.
Additional Event Features
There will also be special Field Research tasks, Timed Research, and Paid Timed Research, all offering extra in-game rewards and encounters with themed Pokémon. Adventure Week 2025 promises lots of excitement, especially with the debut of new Paldean Pokémon, making it a can’t-miss event for Pokémon GO trainers.
