Season 7 of Marvel Rivals introduces White Fox as the newest hero in the game. She comes from the Agent of Atlas team and offers strong support skills that help any squad. Using the power of the Kumiho, White Fox is a strategist who can both harm enemies and heal allies. When played smartly, she becomes a very interesting addition to the game’s roster.
Unlike Elsa Bloodstone from Season 6.5, who was more of a frontline fighter, White Fox is mainly a support character. She is best at restoring health to teammates and using abilities that make her team’s job easier, rather than standing in the front lines or dealing massive damage.
Understanding White Fox’s Powers
White Fox is unique because she can switch between different forms depending on what abilities she uses. She’s a mix of a ranged attacker and a melee fighter, which makes her quite versatile. Knowing when to use her projectiles or her melee strikes is key to playing her well.
As of now, her skills haven’t been considered overpowered or broken, meaning no urgent updates are planned for her in the game.
Her Abilities in Different Forms
White Fox has two main states: Standard and Awakened. In both, she builds up a resource called Spirit Tail energy, represented by fox tail icons on her HUD. The more Spirit Tail she has, the more she can use her powerful skills and stay in her awakened state longer.
Here’s a quick overview of her abilities:
Standard Form Skills
- Yeowoo Guseul (Primary Attack): Fire a bouncing marble that homes in on enemies, heals allies, and restores Spirit Tail energy.
- Spirit Sanctuary: Teleport to an ally, heal nearby allies instantly, and generate a protective shield.
- Awakened Form – Spirit Form: Transform into a nine-tailed fox, heal nearby friends, and drain Spirit Tail energy over time. Attacking enemies in this form also heals allies around.
Awakened Form Skills
- Claw Strike: A forward slash attack with no cooldown.
- Predatory Pounce: Dash forward to slow and flip enemies, recharging after hitting a target.
- Tail Sweep: Sweep with her tails to launch enemies into the air.
Keeping her Spirit Tail energy full is important for maximizing her healing and support abilities. When in her awakened state, she can continuously heal allies and apply charms to enemies, which makes her a powerful healer for team fights.
Her Ultimate Ability: Kumiho Unleashed
White Fox’s ultimate, Kumiho Unleashed, turns her into a massive nine-tailed fox for about ten seconds. During this time, her health jumps to 900, and she becomes very tough to kill. She also heals nearby allies automatically.
However, she can’t be healed while in this form, and if her health drops to zero, she gets knocked out immediately. The form is vulnerable to crowd control effects like knockbacks, but it has its advantages: she can attack with her tails, heal with her quick bursts, and protect teammates with invulnerability.
While transformed, she can deal damage and keep allies safe by applying quick healing and invulnerability to them, especially if timed well. Moving near your teammates during her ultimate increases her chances of survival and maximizes her support.
Team Composition Tips
White Fox works well with heroes who can support her or who excel in quick, aggressive plays. Pairing her with characters like Luna Snow, Rogue, Iron Fist, Venom, Thor, or Deadpool can unlock strong strategies.
- Rogue pairs well because she can hold the front line while White Fox stays back.
- Characters like Iron Fist, Venom, Thor, or Wolverine benefit from White Fox supporting their dive attacks, making it easier to eliminate targets.
Having good communication with your team is crucial, especially since her ultimate and awakened skills require timing. Combining her with heroes like Luna Snow that can also heal gives an extra layer of support and synergy.
Tips for Playing White Fox
White Fox is a flexible hero with many tools. Use her bouncing projectiles to poke enemies at a distance or build resources for her support skills. Saving Spirit Tail energy for healing or her ultimate is vital; don’t rush into fights without enough charge.
Mastering her abilities and knowing when to switch between her forms can turn the tide of battle. Effective use of her skills will allow you to weaken opponents, support your team, and help secure wins.
White Fox adds new strategic options to Marvel Rivals, and with practice, she can be a game-changer for your team.
