The Shooting Star Season is here in Infinity Nikki, bringing a festive atmosphere to Florawish as we welcome the new year. A highlight of this season is the Lucky Fishing Day, which shines a spotlight on Pink Ribbon Eels. The Lucky Fishing Day event kicked off on December 30 and will continue until January 23, giving you plenty of opportunities to collect Diamonds before they disappear. There’s a lot happening during the Shooting Star Season in Infinity Nikki, with numerous activities offering Diamonds as rewards. Whether you’re playing for free and want to stock up for more pulls, or you’ve invested money and aim to conserve, there are plenty of engaging tasks to dive into.
To start the Lucky Fishing Day Event, navigate to your Events tab, indicated by the confetti popper in the upper-right corner of the menu, and locate the Lucky Journey section. Here, you’ll find six quests available for completion that grant Diamonds. Check the “Fun Encounters” menu and keep track of the “Ribbon Eel Exchange” quest. This will lead you to the Leisurely Anglers Fishing Club, where a chat with Mitchell will fill you in on the Pink Ribbon Eel Exchange details.
Where To Catch Pink Ribbon Eels
Look for Pink Fishing Spots Around The Lake
Pink Ribbon Eels can be found throughout the lake, and you’ll recognize the ideal fishing spots due to the presence of pink bubbles and ripples emanating from the fish. Mitchell notes that catching Pink Ribbon Eels is easier in the deeper parts of Silken Lake, although these locations are typically harder to access. Keep in mind, these eels can only be caught at night, so make use of the “Run, Pear Pal” app to advance time for your fishing endeavors.
A good way to access better fishing sites is by speaking with the Croaker Boatman located north of the Leisurely Anglers Club on Silken Lake. He’ll allow you to use a lotus leaf boat to reach the lake’s center where the waters are deeper and more conducive for Pink Ribbon Eels to spawn. Once you hook one, you’ll need to go through the usual fishing process in Infinity Nikki, which is generally straightforward.
Just like other materials found in Infinity Nikki, fish will respawn every day in real-time, so make sure to catch as many Pink Ribbon Eels as possible before the day resets.
Catching Pink Ribbon Eels can be a bit more challenging, but in Infinity Nikki, you can’t truly “fail” at fishing as you might in other games, making it much less stressful. You’ll know you’ve caught a Pink Ribbon Eel when the small fish icon at the top of the screen is pink. Once you catch a few, return to Mitchell at the Leisurely Anglers Club to turn them in.

Meet The Weight Requirement For Rewards
When you return to Mitchell, she will ask, “Are you ready to exchange the [x]kg Pink Ribbon Eel for surprise gifts?” The amount she requires can vary, so pay attention when you’re ready to hand them over. When you affirm, “Yes,” Mitchell will accept your Pink Ribbon Eels in return for a special gift that also changes.
The first time I exchanged a Pink Ribbon Eel, Mitchell requested 2kg in total and rewarded me with 100 Diamonds. The following two times, she asked for 3kg and gave me the Only The Willing title and then 55,000 Bling as rewards. This exchange is unlimited throughout the event, so even though you won’t always receive Diamonds, it’s a great way to accumulate both types of currency.
Since you can exchange an unlimited number of Pink Ribbon Eels, it’s a smart move to catch as many as possible each night during the event. Especially with a new Ability Outfit banner available for a limited time, racking up Diamonds now will help you get closer to unlocking that new, enhanced gliding ability.
While you’re hunting for Pink Ribbon Eels, don’t forget to take care of other quests and activities happening during the Shooting Star Season.
