As you embark on the Mythic Trials in the Storybook Vale expansion of Disney Dreamlight Valley, one of the first tasks to conquer is the "Losing Your Marbles" quest within the "Statues Shadow" trial. You’ll need to unlock the Statues Shadow area of Mythopia first, which will trigger a quest involving Hades.
To gain access to Hades in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must first complete the initial Mythic Trial located in the Elysian Fields biome. Afterward, you can unlock the other biomes and tackle their Mythic Trials in any order. However, it’s advisable to handle the Statues Shadow trial first, as it requires only half the amount of Storybook Magic to unlock this area.

Losing Your Marbles Quest In Disney Dreamlight Valley
Puzzle 1: Lower The Bridge
To start the trial, enter the portal as you did previously; this will transport you to the trial’s location. From this point, go down the stairs to your left, where you will find Hades near a bridge. He’ll prompt you to pull a nearby lever, but be aware that pulling it will drop the bridge too low since there’s nothing underneath to support it. Raise the bridge again and accompany Hades down more stairs to face the first puzzle.
Look for a spinning lever on a pedestal to the right, which you can interact with using Disney Dreamlight Valley‘s Royal Net tool. After that, head to the sandpit where a fishing spot is located; you’ll need to cast your line there. Aim slightly beyond the intended target in the sandpit to ensure you hook the pedestal effectively—trying to aim directly may result in your fishing line not latching on.
After you’ve successfully hooked the pedestal, pull it up to direct the light. Then, move to the large block and push it along the indicated path. If done correctly, it should rest directly underneath the bridge you intended to lower. Go back to the stairs and pull the lever once more; this time, the bridge should lower correctly, allowing you to proceed to the next challenge.
Puzzle 2: Rotate The Bridge
When you reach the next platform, you’ll find another horizontal lever that requires the Royal Net. Hades will mention that the bridge is spinning too far, and your task is to stop it. Follow Hades down the stairs to your right to find another puzzle akin to the first. Right at the bottom of these stairs, you’ll see a peculiar mechanism linked to the next puzzle.
By reading the clue next to it, you’ll learn that you must water the mechanism to activate the pedestal. After doing so, explore the base of the rotating bridge to locate a vertical lever that you need to spin with your Royal Net. While turning it, pay attention to one of the pedestals; your aim is to spin it until it connects with the previously watered pedestal near the block you’ll be moving.
Tip: If you don’t have the opportunity to gather the chests now, you can always return later by re-entering the portals to revisit the trials.
Once everything is correctly aligned, head back to the block and push it along the path. If all parts are in order, the block should stop the bridge from spinning excessively. Go back upstairs and pull the initial lever; the bridge will halt appropriately, enabling you to cross over.
Puzzle 3: Push The Block
The final puzzle is relatively straightforward. Upon entering the next area, you’ll need to push a block that’s obstructing your path. Once you clear it, you’re free to head up the steps to finish the trial. However, if you’re after a chest containing Magma, a favorite food of one of the Dragon companions in A Storybook Vale, you’ll need to water the middle pedestal to clear the block that’s in front of the chest.
After dealing with that, you can choose to follow Hades upstairs to complete your second or third Mythic Trial. With this trial finished, you’re one step closer to concluding the first part of the Storybook Vale Expansion. Your next objective is to finish any remaining Mythic Trials and the three Everafter Fairy Tale Trials in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
