This coin is key for crafting chocolate recipes at different stations and also makes a lovely gift for some of the island’s characters. This guide will help you locate Chocolate Coins in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, as they can be tricky to find if you don’t know where to search.

Where To Find Chocolate Coins

You can find Chocolate Coins exclusively around the Sunken Ship in the northern area of the Rainbow Reef. On the map, the ship is located between Mount Hothead and Gemstone Mountain.

These coins can be found in the circular zone surrounding the Sunken Ship, typically on the rock faces. There are 15 Chocolate Coins in total; once you collect them all, you will have to wait until the next day for them to respawn.

Diving Tips

To collect the Chocolate Coins, you first need to unlock the Snorkel. With this, you can dive around the Sunken Ship. However, if your stamina is low, diving could be challenging.

For this reason, we recommend boosting your stamina with Stamina Apples and acquiring the Mermaid Outfit through the quest Comic Relief. This outfit enables you to remain underwater longer, helping you easily reach the mailbox located at the bottom of the area near the Sunken Ship.

Use Nuls To Find Chocolate Coins

Once you complete the “Meet The Island Beings” and “Terra Nul” quests, you’ll have the ability to use Collector Nuls to gather items. During the Terra Nul quest, you’ll place a Collector Hat on a Nul located near the Seaside Resort plaza. This will allow you to pick an item for them to collect.

The day after you select an item, it will show up in the chest next to the Nul. They will gather as many items as they can, meaning if you choose Chocolate Coins, they will collect 15 of them. However, once you choose Chocolate Coins for the Nul, you cannot gather them yourself.

Chocolate Coins At The Fwishing Well

The Fwishing Well is a purple fountain located just south of the main Spooky Swamp mailbox. After finishing the quest When You Fwish Upon A Fish, you can toss different types of fish into it with a chance of fishing out Chocolate Coins in return.

In general, you’ll have about a 12 percent chance to receive Chocolate Coins from this activity. However, keep in mind that one fish does not equal one reward; it will require multiple fish donations to yield rewards. While this might not be the most efficient method, if you happen to have a surplus of fish and have already collected all 15 coins from around the ship, this is a decent way to obtain a few additional ones.
