When you begin playing Heartopia, you’ll join a neighborhood with up to 11 other players. Each person has their own house and style. The starter home is a good place to live temporarily, but eventually, you’ll want to build something that matches your personal taste.
Creating a house design can be challenging, so we’ve put together some ideas to help you get started. These house concepts will make designing your dream home in Heartopia much easier.
The Rose Manor
Using the special manor-themed items from the Acorn Store, you can craft a beautiful, rose-themed mansion. Build a vibrant garden with colorful fences and a rose-adorned gate. Add a whimsical touch with rose piano keys to create a musical garden, and paint your walls to look like a fairytale scene. Some of these items cost real money to unlock, but once you have the permits, you can place as many as you like, helping you create a luxurious and detailed mansion.
An Enchanted Forest Retreat
For a natural look, try the Free Bird furniture set featuring a huge bird’s nest bed, perfect as a centerpiece for a woodland escape. Instead of a large house, keep it simple with a few trees, a small garden, and wildlife. You can even paint the walls dark to resemble tall trees and leave the roof flat with flooring tiles, adding greenery around to mimic a treetop environment. The options are endless for a cozy, nature-inspired home.
A Fantasy Castle
If you want a medieval vibe, use stone patterns and creative building techniques to make castles with towers, parapets, and a tiny kingdom inside your lot. Use stone steps for paths leading to the top of your castle walls and quarter-wall tiles for tower tops and archways. You might even build support beams inside castle halls, but keep in mind, the building height limit is three levels.
A Winter Wonderland
Want to stand out? Invest in the Polar Hymn Ice Palace banner from the Gilded Acorn Exhibition. While luck plays a role in gaining materials, use what you get to craft a sparkling ice palace. Create sprawling fields of ice and a shining castle to turn your neighborhood into a winter masterpiece. Adding a warm garden space with lush plants will provide beautiful contrast. Turning on snow effects will make your icy palace even more magical if your device allows it.
A Whimsical Gazebo
If big building projects seem intimidating, start small with a gazebo. It’s a simple way to add charm and practice your building skills. Once you unlock the login bonus piano, you can place it inside the gazebo to give your yard a special touch. Whether you elevate it or keep it at ground level, it will be inviting for neighbors to visit and admire.
The Greenhouse
Gardening is a key part of the game. To show off your plants, create a dedicated greenhouse space. Make the room large enough for at least nine gardening plots and add floor-to-ceiling windows for a glasshouse effect. For extra storage and a cozy vibe, use windows with a ledge to display potted flowers and crates of produce.
A Restaurant or Bakery
Since you need a kitchen, why not design a warm, inviting space for neighbors? Build a kitchen with at least two stoves placed side-by-side to increase cooking capacity. Decorate it with counters and cabinets to hold fresh ingredients, and arrange tables and chairs to showcase your culinary skills. Remember to toggle the food sharing option to decide if your shop is open to others.
An Animal Sanctuary or Zoo
Incorporate fun animal features into your home. Use fences and planning to build a lively zoo or aquarium filled with your favorite creatures. Place tanks and vivariums for fish and bugs, and include bird perches and ponds to invite wildlife. Well-placed foliage and careful planning will let neighbors see your collection and explore your animal habitats.
A Garage Workshop
As you earn more vehicles, you’ll want a space to display them. Create a garage or parking lot by placing bikes, scooters, and cars on your lot. To make it more realistic, set up an archway using quarter-walls to mimic garage doors. Inside, put a workbench and include lighting to complete your vehicle workshop.
A Concert Hall
If you love music and want a space to host friends, build a concert hall. Use the building tools to make a stage, add layers of seating, and craft a balcony for performances. Decorate with instruments and music sheets. Hosting parties here with snacks and drinks can make your neighborhood lively. If you enjoy making music or mini-games related to music, creating a concert hall will be a memorable addition to your home.
