In Arc Raiders, coins are essential for your gameplay. They are used for looting, crafting, and upgrading your storage. It can be frustrating to see your inventory nearly full during a mission, so learning how to earn coins efficiently helps you focus more on the game and less on managing your money.
You don’t have to spend endless hours grinding or exploring every part of the map without a plan. There are smarter methods to grow your coin stash while still enjoying the game’s exploration. This guide shows you top strategies for finding items you can sell and making your coins work harder for you, so you can stay focused on the action.
Best Ways to Earn Coins Quickly
If your coin supply is running low, there are some proven ways to increase your balance without wasting time or resources. Knowing what items are worth selling and where to find them is key.
The most profitable items are Trinkets marked with a diamond symbol. These aren’t needed for crafting or upgrades, so you can sell them safely for a good amount of coins.
Nature items are another often overlooked source of money. They don’t provide much value when used—mainly minor health or stamina recovery—but they can pile up during exploration. Selling stacks of these adds up quickly.
Where to Find Trinket Items
You’ll most often find these trinkets in Old World or Residential areas marked with a book or person icon on the map. The Buried City map is especially good for picking up these items, with popular spots like:
- Town Hall
- Grandioso Apartments
- Santa Maria Houses
- The Library
- Red Tower
If you prefer exploring the Blue Gate map, you can still find plenty of diamond-marked trinkets. Focus your search around the Village, Ancient Fort, and Ruined Homestead.
What to Spend Your Coins On First
Once you’ve started accumulating coins, it’s important to spend wisely. Your first priority should be expanding your stash. To do this, open your inventory and click on ‘Expand’ in the top-left corner.
Each storage upgrade costs quite a bit of coins, and the price increases with every level, but it’s well worth the investment. Since a lot of gameplay revolves around looting and collecting items, having a bigger stash will save you hassle when unloading gear.
After expanding your storage, you should visit the Traders tab and check out the Gun Shop. Upgrading your weapons early on will make missions easier and improve your efficiency in gathering loot.
