Plutomon is a Mega Virus Digimon in Digimon Story: Time Stranger and is part of the Olympos XII group. It controls the Dark Field and leads the Titans of the Digital World. In gameplay, Plutomon is a versatile attacker that can deal both magic and physical damage.
If you want to add Plutomon to your Digimon team, this guide will show you all the possible evolution paths and the stats you need to develop to achieve it.
How to Get Plutomon
Plutomon can evolve from the following Digimon:
- Cerberusmon
- Cerberusmon WM (a form change of Cerberusmon)
- Astamon
Since Cerberusmon WM is a variation of Cerberusmon, they are considered the same in the evolution tree.
To evolve into Plutomon, your Digimon needs:
- At least 2,460 HP
- At least 2,500 Attack
- At least 1,700 Intelligence
Plutomon’s base personality is Daring. If your Cerberusmon or Astamon already has the Daring personality and you’ve unlocked the corresponding Agent Skill, you’ll need lower base stats to Digivolve successfully.
Evolution Paths for Cerberusmon and Astamon
You can follow these paths to reach Cerberusmon or Astamon:

(Note: The above table repeats for AstraMon and Cerberusmon, with similar evolution chains. The key takeaway is that both Cerberusmon and Astamon can evolve into Plutomon once they meet the skill and stat requirements.)
Astamon is generally easier to find because you can encounter Sangloupmon wandering the Dark Fields after defeating ZombiePlutomon, allowing you to quickly gather one and start training.
Tips for Training
Since reaching Plutomon’s required stats involves a lot of training, it’s recommended to spend some in the Digifarm. If you have extra Yen, you can pay 10,000 to speed up training times across all levels, making the process quicker.
