Lucemon is a rookie-level Digimon in Digimon Story: Time Stranger, and it has the potential to evolve into some of the strongest creatures in the game. Despite being a Rookie, Lucemon has some of the highest stats among its peers, making it a popular choice early on. Getting Lucemon early can help speed up your progress through the game and unlock powerful evolutions down the line.
The route to Digivolve into Lucemon is fairly straightforward, though you might need some extra effort and grinding if you want to catch him early. Below is a guide with the key details you need to know about evolving a Lucemon in Time Stranger.
How to Get Lucemon
Lucemon is a Rookie Digimon, but you can’t obtain it as soon as you start the game. You need to reach at least Agent Rank 5 before it becomes available. Lucemon evolves from Tokomon, which in turn evolves from Poyomon.
To successfully Digivolve into Lucemon, your Tokomon must meet certain requirements:
- It must have at least 430 Intelligence (INT).
- Its Talent level must be at least 30.
Understanding Talent
Talent is the cap for your Digimon’s level, and it can be increased through various methods:
- Participating in battles
- Hitting enemy weaknesses
- Landing the final blow
The quickest way to boost your Tokomon’s Talent is by using Load Enhancements to merge other unused Digimon into it. This not only adds experience but also rapidly raises Talent levels.
Increasing Talent Effectively
Another effective method is to Digivolve your Tokomon to the highest possible Generation you have unlocked, then De-Digivolve it back down to Tokomon. Each time you do this, Talent points are gained, and talent does not decrease when De-Digivolving.
Once your Tokomon’s Talent reaches level 30 and it has 430 INT, and you have achieved at least Agent Rank 5, you can proceed to Digivolve it into Lucemon.
