The Order is a powerful force in Borderlands 4. They can produce hundreds of synths for war, and their human followers are fanatics willing to kill for the Timekeeper. Their weapons are some of the most advanced around.
The Outbounders are fighting back, but they lack the reach and technology of the Order. Someone who can provide them with information about the Order’s tech and tactics would be very helpful. Luckily, there is a rogue former Order scientist who might be able to assist, but she is not the only one looking for her.
### How to Find the Order Scientist
Start at the Outbounder’s base, known as The Launchpad. Head north on the road then turn northwest into the swampy area of The Howl region. Leave the main path near the silo, then go north to reach a secluded house.
Once there, approach the door. Barriers will block entry and the shed nearby. Climb onto the shed’s roof, use Ground Pound to break through the highlighted section, then destroy the generator. As soon as the barriers break, five auto-turrets will activate inside Zadra’s house and will do a lot of damage, especially if they have elemental effects. Focus on the two turrets by the windows first, then eliminate the two on the right inside the house and the one on the left.
Check the loot from the turrets, as they often drop rare weapons, shields, or ordinances, giving you better gear. Afterward, go upstairs and enter the room to trigger a cutscene with Zadra. This triggers a fight with the Order outside, consisting of three waves of enemies—each wave potentially tougher, with the second containing at least two Bulkheads and the third featuring at least one Badass, depending on difficulty.

### How to Navigate the Meat Processing Plant
The meat-processing plant is located in the southeast part of the Dissected Plateau. It’s a long trip, so if you haven’t unlocked a fast travel point nearby, use the Digistruct vehicle Rush and Conway provided. To reach it, travel to the Watershed Gate, then follow the roads southeast toward The Killing Floors. Fight your way across the bridge with Wildhorn and Calfhorn allies, then follow them into the facility, which is heavily guarded by Order enemies.
Clear out the area, then receive a call from Conway. Enter the shower building, activate the switch on the console, and stand in the highlighted circle outside the Wildhorn shower to trigger a meat shower event.

### How to Fight the Oppressor
The Oppressor is a large, flying enemy similar to a Witness. Its initial attack involves dropping bombs in a diagonal pattern, creating pools of fire. It will then hover closer to the platform, giving you a chance to do damage. While hovering, it will fire a machine gun, small projectiles, or even launch Witnesses at you. Use crates and boxes for cover and focus on dealing damage.
Once its shield health drops to 50%, it will perform two more bombing runs, then resume hovering and attacking as before. When its health reaches 50% left, it will start firing large, homing missiles that are very damaging. Shoot down these missiles or use the central teleporter for cover while continuing your attack. Zadra will notify you once the boss is defeated, after which you should search the area for loot and grab the reward chest before leaving via the ramp to the Idolator’s Noose region.

### How to Find Zadra’s Lab
After rescuing Zadra from Idolator Sol and receiving the mission “A Lot To Process,” head to the unmarked town east of Rosemary’s Reserve, in the Idolator’s Noose area. Find the broken bridge in the town’s bottom corner, then jump off the waterfall cliff onto the pathway leading to a cave. Inside, fight through a room of Threshers—underground creatures that hide and attack with melee or spit projectiles.
If you have the echo device from The Launchpad and started the “Ready To Blow” side mission, you’ll find Gigi in the broken missile lodged in the town’s well. Clear the cavern of Kratch enemies, aided by auto-turrets, then find Zadra waiting inside.
Talking with her completes the quest, unlocks three main story missions, and rewards you with XP, money, Eridium, a rare or epic shotgun, the “Fought The Law” style for your Vault Hunter, the Gloss Paint Job for your vehicle, and makes the quest replayable.
