How to Craft the Delta Old-Fashioned Rayquaza Donut in Pokémon Z-A

The way to start the postgame in Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mega Dimension is immediately after the credits finish. You’ll have one last main mission called “The Greatest Gift.” In this mission, you’ll help fulfill Ansha’s wish and face off against Rayquaza, along with other Legendary Pokémon.

Before reaching that point, you need to gather more research points. Once you’ve done that, go to Hotel Z and begin making the Delta Old-Fashioned Donut, which is needed to summon Rayquaza.

Delta Old-Fashioned Rayquaza Donut Recipe

It’s Quite Simple

Talk to Ansha and choose the “Delta” recipe option before starting. Here’s what you need to aim for in flavor:

390 fresh
340 sour
120 sweet
40 spicy
40 bitter

Ingredients used in the recipe:

4 Hyper Colbur Berries
1 Hyper Roseli Berry
1 Hyper Payapa Berry
1 Hyper Occa Berry
1 Hyper Chople Berry

If you need more Hyper Berries, explore the Hyperspace portals and complete all objectives there. Defeat the gold Poké Ball that appears afterward to earn rare berries. Keep repeating this to gather enough berries to craft the donut.

For these runs, it’s best to avoid the red (or Mega) battle portals, since they might give research points but aren’t as effective for collecting the rare Hyperspace Berries. Focus instead on the portals that give gold Poké Balls for faster berry collection.

Using the Donut to Fight and Catch Rayquaza

It’s on the Roof of Hotel Z

After crafting the donut, head to Hotel Z’s rooftop (take the elevator inside near Ansha). There, you’ll face Rayquaza in battle. You need to beat it to progress. Once defeated, you’ll unlock more side missions where you can earn additional Legendary Pokémon.

The postgame can be quite demanding, but with effort, you’ll find many Legendary Pokémon to add to your collection.
