Coffee Talk Tokyo isn’t a game packed with lots of content. There are no side quests or open-world explorations. It’s a straightforward game where you listen to engaging conversations and occasionally make drinks.
Because of that, you might wonder how long it lasts. There’s a story being told and character development happening, so it’s not very short. But it’s not a long game either. Here’s what to expect in terms of playtime.
How Long Does It Take to Finish?
Completing the main story takes about nine hours. Since the game is linear, there isn’t much variation in a first playthrough.
Your playtime could extend if you keep messing up drinks or spend extra time browsing the Tomodachill social media site.
How Long to Achieve 100% Completion?
Getting every achievement and seeing the true ending requires multiple playthroughs. Luckily, there’s a fast-forward feature you unlock after your first run, which speeds up gameplay. With that, completing everything takes roughly 20 hours.
How Many Days Does the Game Cover?
The game isn’t divided into chapters or acts but rather by days. There are 15 days in total, each representing a different date:
- Day 1 – Thursday, July 30, 2026
- Day 2 – Friday, July 31, 2026
- Day 3 – Saturday, August 1, 2026

- Day 13 – Thursday, August 13, 2026
- Day 14 – Friday, August 14, 2026
- Day 15 – Saturday, August 15, 2026
The game doesn’t have chapters or acts; instead, each day advances the story and reveals more about the characters.
