The latest update for Honkai: Star Rail, version 3.0, introduces a new mission titled “Secret Ceremony.” This quest allows players to earn a hidden achievement as they explore new areas within the game. While following this mission, you’ll delve into the unique culture of Amphoreus and assist its inhabitants in upholding their traditions.
Before embarking on the “Secret Ceremony” quest, you’ll need to unlock the map for the Eternal Holy City Okhema found in Amphoreus. This can be done by completing the “Heroic Saga of Flame-Chase” Trailblaze mission, which is linked to the introduction of this area. After finishing that mission, head to the Holy City and examine a curious cushion located southeast of the Marmoreal Palace’s fast travel point to kickstart your quest.
Walkthrough for the Secret Ceremony Quest
Collect Three Special Items for the Ceremony
To begin, move southeast from the Marmoreal Palace until you find a staircase leading to a small plaza. Here, interact with the cushion marked with a question mark to uncover a hidden scroll lodged beneath it. This Scroll of Mysterious Rites initiates the “Secret Ceremony” quest, but you’ll need to choose to follow its instructions to proceed.
The Scroll outlines a secret ritual meant for the Seekers of Wisdom in Amphoreus. According to its directions, you must collect three distinct items to present to the Great Tree in order to fulfill the ceremony. The items you need to gather are:
- “Earth-Nourishing Quintessence” – Georios’ Fertile Soil
- “Spring of Life’s Blessing” – Phagousa’s Sacred Philter
- “Bestowal of Wisdom Inheritance” – Cerces’ Tree Seed
Fortunately, you won’t need to spend time farming for these materials in Honkai: Star Rail; you only need to locate one of each item. Better still, most of these items are found close to the cushion where you discovered the Scroll. Just explore and check out some containers in the plaza of the Marmoreal Palace you’re currently in.
The table below provides guidance on where to find each quest-related object along with what they are called:
Object |
What It’s Called |
Where to Find |
---|---|---|
Georios’ Fertile Soil |
Mystical Blacksoil |
To the right of the stairs leading to the cushion’s plaza. It’s in a basket behind some white benches before the raised platform with two blue vases. |
Phagousa’s Sacred Pillar |
Mystical Philter |
On the far balcony overlooking the Holy City, past the columns where the cushion is located. The item is inside a large crate to your left, near two children chatting, just before a chest. |
Cerces’ Tree Seed |
Mystical Seeds |
Located in the same place where Georios’ Fertile Soil is found. |
After collecting all the necessary items, your quest marker will direct you north in Amphoreus to a new location. Travel to the Garden of Life fast travel point to reach the Great Tree mentioned in the Scroll, then make your way up to the indicated area on your map. By interacting with a glowing golden spot on the Tree, you can perform the ritual.
Completing this ritual will summon a glowing purple crystal known as the “Fragments of Recollection.” You can interact with the fragment to witness a group of spectral figures from the past performing the same ceremony. By engaging with the Confused Disciple, you can uncover more details about the ceremony and successfully complete the quest.
