Unfortunately, Neutral-type Pals don’t have any specific advantages against others, but they are not without their strengths. Are you ready to discover one of the game’s most powerful Neutral Pals?
Where To Find Celesdir
Celesdir, referred to as the ‘Beast of Salvation’ in old texts, is known for its beauty and strength. Described in its Palpedia entry, this radiant Pal can emit light powerful enough to destroy certain objects. As a Neutral-type Pal, Celesdir can be found on Feybreak Island, a large island located in the southwest region of the map.
Note: Be prepared, as the Pals you will encounter on this island are over level 50. Beware of the anti-aircraft missiles; it’s crucial to approach with care.
Celesdir does not have a fixed spawn point but can appear almost anywhere on Feybreak Island, except in the lighter soil along the northern and western shores. It can spawn at any time, day or night. If you want to counter Celesdir effectively, Dark-type Pals are your best bet.
Since Celesdir is above level 50, ensure you’re well-equipped and have a strong team before attempting to capture it. A Legendary Sphere is necessary, but using Sphere Modules along with Ultimate or Exotic Spheres will simplify the process.
How To Breed Celesdir
If seeking Celesdir sounds too daunting or you prefer to avoid the dangers of Feybreak Island, consider looking for an egg that contains Celesdir instead. You will need a Large Common Egg.
Alternatively, you can produce a Celesdir egg through particular parent combinations at the Breeding Farm. The required combinations are outlined below.
Items Dropped By Celesdir
Defeating or capturing Celesdir will reward you with Hexolite Quartz, Horn, and Leather. Hexolite Quartz is a rare mineral found specifically on Feybreak Island, though farming it from Celesdir is not the best approach due to its low drop rate and limited appearances. Instead, it’s typically more efficient to gather this resource from various places on the island. Horns and Leather, on the other hand, can be more easily obtained from lower-level Pals, making it less worthwhile to farm Celesdir for these items.
Partner Skill & Work Suitability
Celesdir possesses a partner skill called Blessing of Purification, allowing you to ride it. When you ride Celesdir, your character’s auto-recovery speed increases, providing a significant healing boost, particularly when used with recovery items. However, to access this skill, you’ll need to unlock the Celesdir Saddle blueprint at level 58.

Celesdir is particularly suited for Lumbering, achieving a level four proficiency, making it adept at tree-cutting tasks. Keeping Celesdir at your base for this purpose is a smart choice, though it can perform Gathering tasks, its proficiency in that area is just level one.
Passive abilities: Its skill “Remarkable Craftsmanship” boosts its work speed by 75%, and if used in battles, the skill “Swift” increases movement speed by 30%, helping you escape tough situations while capitalizing on its healing benefits.
Where To Find Alpha Boss Celesdir
Finding the Alpha Boss Celesdir is significantly easier than locating a regular Celesdir. This impressive Alpha Boss is located on Feybreak Island, particularly at the coordinates -964, -1176. To get there, head northeast from the Hidden Passage to the Oculus Gate fast travel point.
Keep your wits about you as you navigate the island, known for its high-level threats and environmental dangers. When you arrive at the specified coordinates, you’ll encounter the formidable Alpha Boss Celesdir, standing at a hefty level 60.
Given its high level and the challenge it presents, thorough preparation is crucial before engaging. Make sure your armor is upgraded, and your weapons are in peak condition; even a slight mistake could complicate the battle.
Assemble a balanced team, focusing on Dark-type Pals to take advantage of Celesdir’s Neutral typing. If your goal is to capture Celesdir, lower its HP, withdraw your Pal, and strike the final blow while equipped with the Ring of Mercy. This will leave Celesdir with just one HP, making it much simpler to capture.
